The City

No other destination encapsulates the history of this wonderful City so well and in such an accessible way. The historic square mile is bordered by Temple and Holborn Bars in the west, Smithfield and Moorfields to the north, Aldgate and Tower Hill to the east and has the river Thames to the south.

Crammed with Norman churches, medieval houses, the Museum of London, Tower Bridge and many winding alleyways which take you into hidden courtyards, lovely old pubs and into spaces where you can enjoy beautiful views of famous buildings, the river, and cemeteries or just to soak up the atmosphere.

There is an information centre located in St Paul’s churchyard, adjacent to St Paul’s Cathedral.
