East London is well served by numerous London Underground lines - Central, Circle, District, East London (currently closed for major line extension until 2010), Hammersmith & City, and Jubilee lines.

These provide easy access to the City, West, Central and North London, Heathrow Airport and key mainline stations including Waterloo, Victoria, Euston, King's Cross St Pancras and Paddington.
