The best way to explore the area is by Docklands Light Railway, London's fully automated driverless light rail system. Enjoy excellent views of the stunning modern architecture of Canary Wharf and historic docks from DLR’s elevated track. 

Services run from Bank and Tower Gateway in the west to Beckton and Woolwich Arsenal via London City Airport in the east, Lewisham via Canary Wharf and Greenwich in the south and Stratford in the north. 

The DLR connects with London's tube network at Bank and Tower Gateway, and also at Bow Church, Stratford, Canning Town, Heron Quays and Canary Wharf. 

DLR operates 7 days a week with fast, frequent and reliable services from 5.30am to 1.30am Monday to Saturday and from 7.00am to 11.30pm on Sunday.
