Royal Observatory Greenwich

The Royal Observatory, Greenwich is the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the famous Prime Meridian of the world. The Royal Observatory also houses London's only public planetarium which provides a magnificent introduction to the mysteries and wonders of the night sky.

Free Admission. Charges apply to planetarium shows, some special events and exhibitions.
Opening Times: Daily 10.00 - 17.00. Please note, during the summer months parts of the Observatory remain open until 18.45 and the Meridian Courtyard is open until 19.00. Last admission 30 minutes before closing.
